Zenless Zone Zero Rina

Rina Kit Explanation

Role: Support
Damage Type: Electric
Faction: Victorian Housekeeping Co.
Rarity: S-Tier

Rina’s unique mechanic is summoning two golems, Anastella and Drusilla, who perform actions on her behalf while she stays safely behind them. When Rina is swapped out, her golems stay on the field for a short period of time, boosting the team’s PEN ratio based on Rina’s own PEN ratio. Ideally, players should deploy Rina for a short period of time to bring out her golems, then switch back to a DPS role.

Pairing Rina with a Shock Agent or a colleague from Victoria Housekeeping will extend the duration of the Shock effect and provide a Shock damage boost to the entire team when the enemy is shocked.

By acquiring multiple copies of Rina, you can further enhance her unique playstyle and increase her cinematic tiers.

At level 1, this increases the amount of time her puppet stays on the field and increases the PEN % buff based on the distance between the active character and the puppet. Level 2 temporarily increases Rina’s damage after a swap. Level 4 boosts her energy regeneration while her puppet is on the field, and at level 6, she boosts the team’s Shock damage when she hits an enemy with an EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate.

The Best W Engine for Rina

Rina’s signature W Engine, Weeping Cradle, is a great fit for her, providing additional PEN rate and energy regeneration when she’s not on the field. It also increases the team’s damage to enemies previously hit by Rina, further enhancing her support role.

If Weeping Cradle is not an option, then Slice of Time is the next best W-Engine, offering a similar PEN ratio. Other good choices include:

  • Kaboom Cannon (A tier)
  • Unchained Game Ball (A tier)
  • [Echo] Mark III (B tier)
  • Best Drive Discs for Rina

For Drive Discs, Swing Jazz helps Rina regenerate energy faster and provides additional team advantage. Puffer Electro provides additional PEN ratio, which is crucial. Anomalous Mastery and Proficiency are also useful as they make it easier for Rina to deal shocks, which is essential for activating her electric damage buff.

Recommended Drive Disc Sets

Swing Jazz (4) + Puffer Electro (2): +20% Energy Regeneration, +15% Damage for 12 seconds, after chaining or ultimate, +8% PEN ratio.

Recommended Driver Stats

  • Part 1: HP (Primary), Abnormal Mastery, Attack, Critical Rate, Critical Damage
  • Part 2: Attack (Primary), Abnormal Mastery, Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage%
  • Part 3: Defense (Primary), Abnormal Mastery, Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage%
  • Part 4: Abnormal Mastery (Primary), Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage%, Penetration
  • Part 5: Penetration (Primary), Abnormal Mastery, Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage%
  • Part 6: Abnormal Mastery (Primary), Attack, Critical Rate, Critical Damage

Recommended Team Composition

Rina is an excellent support in most teams. Pairing her with an Electric teammate can maximize her strengths. Here is the recommended team.

  • Anton (Main DPS)
  • Grace (Sub DPS)
  • Rina (Support)
  • Bangboo: Plugboo

Grace excels at dealing shocks, triggering Rina’s buffs and allowing Anton to deal extra damage. Alternatively, Grace can be the main DPS and Anby can be the sub DPS to deal stuns more often.
