Runescape axceso 5 workaround
This thread is intented to help the players from the latinamerican community who are being forced to make an account with axceso5 for being able to log into the game. Following is the known ways to bypass this until we get an official explanation by jagex.
If you find another way to be able to log in without the need to make an axeso5 account please tell us to add them.
Note: Addblocker will nto solve the issue because it is a jagex server issue.
To any MOD who manages to view this(IF we are that lucky)
We are not against the idea of you uniting more the community and we the players cannot take any decisions on how you run your company. But what we are asking is just for an “OPTION” to disable this feature. For many of us specially the old players we find this:
1) Intrusive
2) Having to log into another portal to be able to use Runescape Gold specially when it is not encrypted in https makes no sense.
3) I understand the need to explore new markets but I do not understand the need to force upon your already loyal members a restriction of this manner.
4) We are not against it but you need to give us an option. Doing this will only alienate players and have the inverse effect of what do you want.
Axeso 5 WorkAround
Loging by the Main page
By pressing “Play Free Now” you acess the main loading screen with just an axeso5 banner. You will be able to enter the main page and can acess the services.
DrawBack:
1) When pressing the “Play Free Now” Button you cannot enter the game loader and the axeso5 authenthication screen that requires an axeso5 account comes out.
2) If you press the “Inicia Sesion Con Cuenta De Runescape” wich is supposed to be the button to be able to log without an axeso5 account if you have an old account the following message appears: “The Requested content cannot be loaded.”
Facebook loging:
If you log via facebook you will load the game normally without axeso5 but the acess to other services is not provided due to jagex removing the ingame linkbar that was before rs3.
Drawbacks:
1) No access to the other services.
2) Need a facebook account synched to runescape.
3) Some Report they are unable to use this method.
URL Method:
Method A: Type ***.runescape.***/game you will get acess o the main game loader with only an axeso5 banner. This way you will be able to load the game with your normal runescape account.
Drawback:
1) The axeso5 bar
2) Acess to other services is not provided due to jagex removing the ingame linkbar that was before rs3.
Method B: In the url search for the part that ends on \a= and put a 123 after the =.
Drawback:
1) The axeso5 bar

3) Depends on your geographical location not everyone can use this method.
Client Method:
You can download the runescape client and run the game directly from your computer.

1)Requires Installation

3) Small axceso5 Banner.
ToolBar Method:
You can download the runescape toolbar for IE firefox or Crome. After Installing press Play in the toolbar and it will give you acess to the main game without the need for an axeso5 account.

Logging to the main page by the top left button ” LOG IN TO WEBSITE”
Any button in the website that links to this page.
Though there appears to be no malware on the site itself doesn’t mean that it isn’t malicious in nature. If Jagex truly wanted accounts to be logged in threw this domain they would have mentioned this in a news post.
Treat “axeso5” as a malicious website intercepting all traffic between your computer and runescape until Jagex announces this website is legitimate. Malicious websites have disrupted the community like this in the past. Although it has been a real good while since it was this severe.
I’ve been around this game for far too many years to trust anything like this without a news post first describing the new service/feature. This game has always been a huge target for phishing scams.
